Hi and thank you for finding our blog.

My name is Vanessa and I am the very proud Teacher and Owner of ‘Inner Bliss Kids Yoga’.

With the help of my wonderful husband and two amazing children, our business is very much a family-run operation. My family are my little ‘roadies’ and are often helping set up and pack away, making resources and lesson props, designing signs and banners for our classes and participating in the lessons.

In 2017, I trained as a children’s yoga teacher after 21 years experience as a Primary School Teacher and Early Childhood Teacher. Initially, I trained in children’s yoga teacher to help my own children and the children that I teach on a daily basis. I had been, for some time, searching for a programme that would encourage children to be physically active, help develop their strength and co-ordination as well as allow for increased focus, concentration, self-esteem, self-concept, sense of personal empowerment and self-love.

With children’s yoga, I found everything that I was looking for and more. After years of practicing yoga myself, I was surprised that up until that point, I hadn’t considered the enormous benefit that children could also gain from this ancient practice. As a result, I feel extremely privileged to have the opportunity to educate children of all ages in yoga so that they may experience the joys and benefits of yoga.

To further my practice and understanding of the yoga principles, I have also completed my Level 1 350hr yoga training with My Health Yoga.

My other interests include travelling, exploring new places, candle making, walking, drawing, spending time with my family and watching my children in all of their adventures.
