All ‘Inner Bliss Kids Yoga’ classes are designed to help children feel calm, confident and capable one breath at a time. Through the practice of breathing exercises, yoga poses, yoga games, art, music and relaxation activities, children are encouraged to express their creativity, have fun, make friends and enjoy the experience of yoga. At the same time, children are developing their physical strength, flexibility, stamina, co-ordination and balance.
Children also learn how they can use simple yoga and mindfulness techniques on those days when they may be feeling a little frustrated, overwhelmed, nervous or anxious about events or situations in their lives.
It is our hope that children recognise, accept and appreciate their uniqueness and individuality, not just now in the present time, but also well into their adult lives.
